The body was a cloudy thick looking brown color with no visible carbonation. The aroma was nice thick and heavy with brown malts and slightly musty odor. The mouthfeel is slightly vinuous and slightly astringent with a smooth overal feel to it. The flavor contains notes of sweet brown malts with a hint of raisin in it. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 12, 2004 (Bottled) Nice, hazy orangeish red color with medium, tight, but mostly vanishing head. Mild, toffee-sweetish aroma with yeast. Sweet, fruity and toffee-syrupy flavor. Very smooth, medium to full-bodied, quite low-carbonated palate. Quite easily drinkable, despite the sweetness. A nice dessert drink - like a water-blended, toned-down version of Silly Scotch. joss (3673), Garching b. München, Germany
