Aroma of sweet malt and dark... meat? Has a faint taste that reminds me of the juice from a medium-rare steak, along with a sweetness otherwise well-balanced with nice tart hops. Lingering but faint finish, thin body, and low carb. This would be an excellent beer with a bit more head, alongside a steak or beef stew. Otherwise sadly lacking. dkachur (2402), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

The bottle almost exploded when I opened it and I spillt about 1/3 of the beer. Pours a cloudy brown with a medium off-white head and a fruity, malty aroma. The taste is really malty with notes of rye-bread, wood, berry and some caramel somewhere. It is a nice beer, not the best, but it is good dirkbreedveld (247), Netherlands

Good thing there is a wire holding the cap on this thing. Thing could take out an eye or small plane. Alcohol is *robertus* and for me, the aroma was the best, and most noticeable thing. pivnizub (5059), Bochum, Porúří, Germany

O.K., very good by dutch standards........ DJC (238), USA

Semi-sweet malty aroma, and some floral, fruity notes hanging around there, as well. Prominent initial malty/fruity taste, with bitterness taking over in the end. A good, interesting beer.
