Commercial Description:
Beer of the month November 2005 in the ABT beerbars in Holland. Rob Martens designed this beer, as he was the winner of the beer-tasting championships 2004.

Bottled. Clear amber coloured with a beige head. Aroma of malts, grain and hops. Sweet flavour of malts, grain and hops.

Botted: Amber coloured. Clear. Beige head. Sweet medicinlike aroma. Is quite vague. Sweet and malty flavour. Light caramel notes and fruit. Alcohol is notable. Is meidium bodied. Dry light herbal end.

A hazy red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with lots of berries, besides hints of honey. The flavor is very sweet with notes of caramel and honey beside hints of ascorbic acid, leading to a dry slightly woody end.

Tap, Café het Pleintje Hengelo. Caramel and licorice in both aroma and flavor. malty sweet flavor with some roasted malt. Soft bitter aftertaste. Peppery and fruity (apple, mango). Tasty and likeable.

Tap at ’t Arendsnest. Cloudy brown color, medium off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, some rye, bit caramel, some hop. Bit bitter taste, roasted malt. Full body, slightly bitter aftertaste. Decent beer.
