May 22, 2003 So I've just realized that I live pretty close to Chumley's and I had a hunch that their beer would be unremarkable since people go for Chumley's history and atmosphere, not its beer.The Sunrise Rye was more refreshing and less hoppy than the Wing and a Prayer Wheat. Slightly sweet and oddly fruity (just a touch). Best of the lousy beers I've tried at Chumley's today.
