Commercial Description:
This beer is golden in color with a light bubbly effervescence. The light body makes this lager beer appropriate for a business lunch or your evening sipping beer. The light malt flavor also accentuates the hop flavor. From the start, you will notice a fine hop aroma. As you sip the Celestial Gold, the subdued maltiness blends with a slight hop flavor. When this beer finishes, you will notice a pleasant hop bitterness. The bitterness will be mild and quite appropriate.

now this is in my mind is quite an interesting feat in brewing since it is fairly rich in color and taste considering its light abv. i think many beer drinkers have appreciation for a beer that is satisfying and interesting enough to drink and i enjoyed this particular beer for that reason. perhaps some divine intervention from "the powers" still lingering at this beautiful brewery it is a true beer enthusiasts "find". nice hop and malt presence with fruit and bitterness and touch of sweetness that does not overly linger, yes, pleasant is usually good!

Pours a lightly hazy medium golden color with a large, foamy, off-white head. The foamy displays nice retention, and leaves patchy lacework on the glass. Aromas are a bit off, corn malt and wheat grains showing a weird, phenolic sort of yeast overtone that could hint at mild infection. There are some floral hops there as well, but the strange yeast note clouds everything up. Flavors show similarly, with honey glazed cereal grains and mild floral hops being overshadowed by hint of aluminum and a strange, yeasty element. The mouthfeel is fine for what it is, light to medium bodied and moderately carbonated. Drinkable, but not something that I would ever seek out.

Draft… Clear light yellow lager with no head. Sweet, grainy nose with additional notes of toffee and acetaldehyde. Light to medium-bodied with tingly carbonation. Sweet and thin with low bitterness – notation of acetaldehyde. Crisp, bland finish.

Pours golden, with a really thick white head. Aroma, fruity (citrus), yeasty (close to vegetable). Taste, hoppy, sugary malts with a fair amount of citrus/banana. Not a bad pislner, the beer is just loaded with citrus, malts and yeast.

[1280-20080410] 12floz bottle. Fresh sweet floral yeast aroma with fresh veggies and cooked carrots. Clear, yellow body with a big foamy white head. Strange paint pucks flavour with sweet yeast notes. Medium body. Weeeeird, not in a pleasant way.

Courtesy of sebletitje. Pours deep gold with copper core and thin white head. The aroma is floral and spicy hops to go along with malt sweetness. The taste is refreshing with grainy Munich like malts. Notes of floral and spice hops mixing with a citrus lemon undercurrent grow as the finish approaches. It ends try and tart.
