Bottle. Red pour, small white head. Aroma of dark cherries. Just cherry, malty backbone, candi sugar, brown sugar, some chocolate, and light caramel. Dark malts, crystal, floral hops, belgian spices. Cherry is dark but not sweet or tart. Cherry is balanced with the malts very good.

Served with a deep amber body beneath a quick, tan head which left watery lace trails. Lovely aroma with sweet cinnamon, cherry & banana-esque esters. Thick, rich & sweet with Belgian yeasts & sugars alongside a sweet-tart fruitiness. Quite a tasty sipper.

On draft at Capones, recomended by Stegosaurus. Red pour, hints of figs, plums and raisins. Bread taste with a mild sugar undertone. A good solid strong finish. This was the gem of the night for me.

Growler courtesy of lukin013. Pours a somewhat cloudy amberish copper with an off white thin but persistent head. Smells of tarte cherries, some bread, spice and nuts. Tastes of chocolate, molasses, caramell, toffee, some sweet malt. Some metallic hints emerge as the beer wrams. Alcohol is well masked on this one. Mouthfeel is thick with hints of cherries on the finish.

Draught: Aroma of cherry, caramel, and alcohol. Smells a bit like Robitussin, but not quite as harsh. Poured amber in color with a small, off-white head. Clear. Tastes like a Quad. Flavors of Belgian yeast, caramel, candy sugar, cherry, and a little alcohol. Medium body. Oily texture. Soft carbonation. Alcohol finish.

On tap at the Church on June 14, 2007. Ruby orange caramel, off white head. Aroma is caramel, malt, funky. Flavor is fruity, malty, funky, slight cherry. Not offensive, but not terribly distinct.

Big & strong fruity beer, very enjoyable, dark amber in color, light off-white head, lots of cherries in the nose, flavors were very sweet with a lot of cherries there as well, big notes of alcohol in the flavors & finish, other notes of sugar & yeast, left that warming effect with the alcohol in the finish, a decent beer to sip on & enjoy for a while
