Golden to pale orange but almost non-existent cloudiness, which was odd for a hefe. Aroma was wheat, banana, citrus, and clove. Flavor was similar, definitely tasted like a hefe, with very noteable fruitiness and spice. Crisp effervescence. Not bad overall.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 4, 2009 Draft at the brewery. Fairly attractive pour (even if it was in a pint glass) of golden yellow with a pillowy white head. Aromas are mostly grass and a bit of clove, body comes around as a bit woody and harsh for a hefe. Good carbonation and very drinkable. LinusStick (1852), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma was weak, but could pick up some clove and banana. Pour was a flat light gold with no head. Taste was very flat and bad. Could only pick up stale bubblegum and a hint of spice. Aftertaste was vomit and bubblegum. If I had not paid for it I would have dumped it. joshwilfong (797), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
