Commercial Description:
Also known as the "2000 Trippel".
We designed this beer to be Belgian in character including the addition of imported malt. It is beautifully golden in color with a complex fruit-like aroma and bubbly effervescence. The body is big and malty, while the hop profile is subdued. Since this beer is bottle conditioned, the flavors will develop over time. Be patient and let it age.

Draught at the Church. Served in a flute. Hazy off yellow pour with minimal head. Nice typical fruity aroma and taste, with bananas, spice, and maybe some orange or citrus. Crisp effervescence. Alcohol is 9% but nicely hidden. Well done trippel.

Had this beer on tap at the brewery (which is definitely worth the trip if you’re in Pittsburgh). Very light gold color with a decent amount of white head and some lacing. Pretty good aroma consisting of coriander and yeast. Body is a little thin. Flavor is pretty good until the metalic aftertaste which overtakes the palate. This is not a good Tripel, but the atmosphere in the brewery made up for it.

Bottled - too bad it wasn’t a partyfass. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beie head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, malt, alcohol, and some medicin. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of fruit leaning on being over ripe as well as notes of wood, and malt, leading to a dry finish. Thanks MadsBerg for opening it and Papso for sharing.
