Nice typical fruity aroma and taste, with bananas, spice, and maybe some orange or citrus. Crisp effervescence. Alcohol is 9% but nicely hidden. Well done trippel.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 28, 2009 Had this beer on tap at the brewery (which is definitely worth the trip if you’re in Pittsburgh). Very light gold color with a decent amount of white head and some lacing. Pretty good aroma consisting of coriander and yeast. Body is a little thin. Flavor is pretty good until the metalic aftertaste which overtakes the palate. This is not a good Tripel, but the atmosphere in the brewery made up for it. fonefan (11885), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 23, 2009 Bottled - too bad it wasn’t a partyfass. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beie head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, malt, alcohol, and some medicin. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of fruit leaning on being over ripe as well as notes of wood, and malt, leading to a dry finish. Thanks MadsBerg for opening it and Papso for sharing.
