| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 15, 2008 Draught sample at C’est What Spring 2008 Festival of Small Breweries. Light, clear golden colour. Very sweet aroma - yup, there’s honey in there. Medium bodied, light carbonation. Flavour fits the name - tastes of honey and not much else, with a slightly warm finish. Very pleasant in a small sample, but I couldn’t drink a lot of it. Would be great poured over vanilla ice cream, though. blankboy (3212), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 2, 2008 Draught at C’est What. Pours a hazy dirty yellow with a spare diminishing white head. Aroma of honey and fruit. Flavour of sugary sweet honey, light fruit and alcohol in the finish. Average bodied. Not bad but a little goes a long way. shintriad (698), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 27, 2008 Draught. At C’est What. Murky light orange with a small white head. Mild aroma - honey/clover, with a little grassiness. The taste is pretty much straight-up Billy Bee cream honey, and plenty of it, slightly boozy with a little dry grass pungency. Sticky, sugary mouthfeel, with a long slightly gritty honey aftertaste. Ehh. VeloVampire (490), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 27, 2008 On tap at C’est What - came a clear gold with no head at all (as befits a mead) and some delicate bubbles rising lazily to the surface. Aroma very sweet, quality honey with a slightly tart characteristic. Flavour very nice - sweet but not cloying, some faint Church-Key house notes (I’m guessing from the yeast), and an overall almost cider-like package. Nicely done. Something I would gladly try again.
