| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 26, 2009 341mL from a sixer, given to me by Tupalev, glad I could help clear some cellar space Jeff! Thanks! Pours a very nice deep gold with a large white head, good retention and lacing. The aroma is very pleasant, actually quite crisp, good hop signature and hints of a simple but strong malt backing. Fruity esters are present as well, most notably some peach. Subtle floral quality to it that I can appreciate. The flavour is very sweet, lots of residual sugar and malt backbone, some cereal grains, but well rounded out in the finish with a small but significant hop zing. Quite tasty and sessionable, a very nice Ontario brew, semi-obscure due to lack of availability. Thanks again Jeff! garthicus (1314), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
