Sample from tap at the brewpub in Canal street. Pours pale yellow-greenish, head is a thin white rim. Aroma pear and apple, slight citric and dry. Flavour is sweet pear and apples with a citric twist into the finish. Slight chemical twist. Medium hard cider.

clear yellow, lots of carbonation creating a frothy head that quickly disapates leaving behing a touch of lace, slightly sour apple aroma, strong apple flavor that starts sweet leading to a tartness and then a dry finish

Very pale straw coloured cider. Very subtle aroma, light pear and faint apple. No complexity at all. Flavour is lightly tart, but mostly dry pear flavour. A touch of tartness, but not much. A bit of sulphury yeastiness. It’s macro cider, and not even very good at that. Still, since it’s about 35 degrees in my apartment, this will do nicely.

The aroma is more of the skin of the apple than the meat. It looks fine, clear yellow with slow carbonation. The taste is clean, but the finish has a metallic feel/taste to it.

Pours pale yellow colored, with aroma of apples (surprise). Tastes firm, with an apple tartness and effervescent finish. I prefer beer, but these hard ciders are wearing on me.

Head is virtually nil. Body is clear LIGHT yellow (approaching colorlessness). Aroma is trace apple, cement, and grass. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, unclean. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Doesn’t get too much worse than this. Green Mountain is known for industrial fizzy cider-pops, so this isn’t a surprise.

Appearance: hey, looks like cider! Less bubbly than some. Aroma less sweet and overtly apply, more winelike than I expected; rather nice. Flavor is too sweet, not tart enough, very simple, though the alcohol is more noticeable than in Woodchuck’s products. Finishes very dry and quick. A so-so cider; I’d have it again if in the mood for a beer alternative, but won’t seek it out. Oh, and the label on mine is different than in the pic here; it’s very early-Soviet-worker, and pretty cool.

Dry white wine-like aroma with some apple character present. Very pale with vibrant carbonation. Very sweet apple flavour with some gentle tartness at the sides of the tongue. Champagne-like effervescence but perhaps a touch too carbonated. Plain and simple. Drinkable but not very exciting. On tap at Vermont Pub and Brewery.
