Gentle apple and peach aroma as well with a nice tartness. The flavor is quite sweet and has a very natural apple quality to it: somewhat sour, honey-sweet, yeasty and perfectly tart. One of the best and well-balanced ciders that I’ve had. notalush (2690), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 1, 2006 Cloudy straw/grain color, with nearly zero carbonation, but some large, clinging bubbles none-the-less - very sweet aroma or honey and overripe apples, some earthy, barnyardy must - starts dry and crisp, but just a bit of tartness - very sweet through the middle, with the honey and overripe apples from the aroma coming through - oak and vanilla come in near the finish - doesn’t finish as dry as some ciders, but a tannic (as others have noted), chardonay-like quality does come in to balance the sweetness - a very nice cider. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 21, 2005 This seemed like a cider crossed with a lambic or funky saison. Started off with some nice crisp sweet apple flavors and a lot of carbonation. Dry and woody at the finish with hints of liquer. After awhile, i definitely got "wild" - almost barnyard stuff here. A little bit of sourness. Fairly complex for a cider. JoeMcPhee (5030), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 4, 2005 2004 bottle. Cloudy deep golden cider, almost still appearance. Lovely sweet aroma, fresh apple, honey, a touch of funkiness. Spicey nose, vanilla and a bit of dustiness. Flavour is quite sweet, almost bready mouthfeel, apple and oak flavour. The Calvados really comes through on the finish. Almost brandyish sweetness through the middle. Very nice tasty cider. Mangino (1027), Mississippi, USA

Aroma is musty apples, cobwebs, hay. Flavor starts syrupy and sweet, apples of all sorts. Sweet malt liquory body finishes slightly bitter/sour apples. hopscotch (5537), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 28, 2005 2004 Bottle... Hazy, deep golden cider. The acidic aroma is all apple and wood with healthy doses of booze and leather. Woodsy, caramelly flavor with a quick flemish quality up front and a mild, slightly astringent, tannin bite on the backside. Medium-bodied and watery with lively carbonation. Finishes dry and tannic. 1FastSTi (2580), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 19, 2005 The aroma is pear, yellow apples, and light peaches. The flavor is peaches and apples that have some fresh vanilla and sweet brandy. The appearance is a hazy golden straw color with a non-existent head. Looks good for a cider. The palate is a tart and sweet with lingering appley goodness. Nice mouthfeel. MIBRomeo (1965), Wisconsin, USA

orangish color tiny whisps of white head. smells a touch wine like has hints of alcohol in it. A lot of tart apples a touch floral and some vanilla maybe even a touch of brandy in it. Good mouth feel well coated and smooth. The flavor is definatelly full of sweet sugars and apples some vanilla and a tiny twinge of sweet brandy some wood notes come out now and again inconsistnantly. Pretty good cidar.
