The aroma is sweet with a lovely combination of apples and desert wine as well as an acidity from the apples. The flavor s very sweet with lovely apple notes, but also with an acidity, but also with fruity notes - I pick up peaches, as well as notes of desert wine. The mouthfeel is very rounded, except in the end where a slight alcohol bite show its teeth. Papsoe (15004), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 17, 2006 (Bottle 75 cl) Pours a hazy golden with a somewhat rough, white head. Very tart apple aroma with a whiff of wood. Light body with very soft and sweet apple accents. Odd how the aroma is so tart while the flavours are all smooth, soft and sweet. Quite a complex and pleasant country cider. 151206 joergen (8614), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 9, 2005 Cloudy tan colour. Minimal visible carbonation. Fruity, tannic, alcoholic aroma. Flavour is sweet, with an appley, leathery character. Finishes soft and smooth, which is a bit of a letdown. fiulijn (7330), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 5, 2007 Corked bottle, Recolte 2004, 2+ years old Hazy golden color; nice thin perlage. Strong aroma, of Golden apple peel, oxydized. Good body structure, with some sweetness in the front, juice of mature yellow apples, a hint of honey. The final gets some complexity by being lightly astringent; the apple flavor lasts for long. Very good. Maria (6280), Thisted, Denmark

The color is warm golden and the head is small. The aroma has notes of sweet apples and is very full and alluring. The flavour has sweetness and notes of sweet apples with a light, dry bitterness, hints of wood, honey and the finish is slightly spicy. It is incredibly smooth and pleasant, and I find it hard to describe it – but nice it is, that is for sure... Rastacouere (5559), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 25, 2004 Extremely murky orange to pear color. Lots of tiny sediments. Huge fruity aroma, red apples oriented fruit salad, but also subdued notes of pear, mango, peach, grapes.. Very estery, absolutely hidden alcohol. Complex and impressive and just very different from any other cider I’ve had obviously. On the tongue, the peach and pear flavors still accompany the apples, but there’s a big wood-barrel counterpart which is perhaps a bit overwhelming. I absolutely love the christmas tree feeling it gave me (christmas flavors from the light barnyardy touch and) In this regard, I can’t wait to try the regular Dupont cider. Weird mouthfeel evolution. At first, it’s rather thick, sticky, extremely sweet, sugar cane like, but it somehow gets a bit astringent toward the end. No carbonation, I’m wondering if I would have enjoyed it more with some. bu11zeye (5530), Frisco, Texas, USA
