A dry wooden finish serves as a foundation for the mighty sparkling...Alcohol peeks through with some watery rivulets...I was expecting a lot more from this one honestly, they can make much better imho...

750 ml bottle shared with Capflu, Goldorak, beerbuzzmontreal, Boutip and DumDum at the Ciderwinder tasting in Ottawa. Fizzy exploding gushing bottle yields a light, clear bubbly gold liquid...funky lemon-sour apple barnyard nose is fascinating...heavy carbonation in the body, quite dry overall...bitter iron at the finish, light and tingly apple peel character rather than sweet juice. A nice change from all the massively sweet thick ciders consumed that evening...

Pale lager yellow, you could pass stuff off for Champagne easily. The lively sparkle tickled my nose as I dove in for a whiff. Slight funk, acidic, an interesting farmhouse smell (good) but also a little bit medicinal (not so good). Feels real dry, apple peel taste, somewhat astringent, excellent attenuation, anyone who dislikes ciders because of the cloying factor should try this one. It’s lively and light, with a little acidity.

Bottle: Poured a sparkling medium yellow color cider with a real barnyard aroma to it. Quite dry with a slight feel of rotten apples. Overall, this is an above average sparkling dry cider.

(750ml bottle) With the glass the held up to your face the carbonation playfully bounces off your nose. The nose was of farmyard aroma and mac apples. Very mouth expanding and flavourful. Tastes more of peel and over-ripe, dry granules than regular apple juiciness. Very good. Many thanks to BeerBuzzMontreal!

Pours a pale gold color with a lot of bubbles. Very appealing aroma of barnyard, leather and apples with lingering dryness. Excellent flavor of barnyard and apples, it’s very dry also and I like that a lot. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Excellent, even better than the regular Pédoncule because of the dryness.
