Aroma of caramel, lots of bourbon, and fusel alcohol. Taste is fruit, sugar, brown sugar, maple, bourbon and a bit nutty. Aroma of big, chewy, sticky malt. Lots of vanilla from the wood. A good dose of alcohol despite only being 8.5%. Pours hazed, cloudy dark amber/brown with a thick khaki head. Flavor has a huge wood presence. Vanilla, sweet malt, toffee caramel, alcohol and more wood. Sticky body. boozy. Dry finish with a massive wood presence throughout the beer. Very unbalanced.
