Bottle from JdubFL - thanks! Reddish-brown pour with an aroma of vanilla, bourbon, dark fruits and brown sugar. Flavor has maple, vanilla/wood/bourbon, chocolate, dark fruits, and assorted sweet goodies. Monster mouthfeel - this is awesome and gives Alesmith’s BA Wee Heavy a run for its money.

Old notes. 750ml bottle #216/240. My notes are sparse, I guess because it didn’t do much for me. Aroma of big, chewy, sticky malt. Lots of vanilla from the wood. A good dose of alcohol despite only being 8.5%. Pours hazed, cloudy dark amber/brown with a thick khaki head. Flavor has a huge wood presence. Vanilla, sweet malt, toffee caramel, alcohol and more wood. Sticky body. boozy. Dry finish with a massive wood presence throughout the beer. Very unbalanced. Thanks Bob!
