Bottle #57. Pours brownish red with big head and thick white lacing. Nose is strong with bourbon, caramel, strong rich brown sugar and some woody notes. Flavor is great: bourbon, wood, caramel, vanilla, rich cocoa, dark malts, slight roast. Really surprised at how well the bourbon blended with the Bolita. A very good beer. Very easy to drink.

Bottle. Waited a while to open this one. Poured a dark, hazy, reddish brown with a creamy tan head. Nose still has quite a bit of bourbon also some vanilla, raisin, and tobacco. Smooth mouth feel with a full body. The bourbon has definitely mellowed since the release. Still lots of Bourbon, vanilla, sweet roasted malt, oak, and chocolate. Finishes sweet with a good amount of warming alcohol.

Aroma of tobacco, caramel, smoke, and coconut. Taste is sweet, smoky, cocoa, medicinal gauze, bourbon, and coconut. Finish is sweet and oaky. Yum. Would love another bottle so I can get more notes on this baby.
