| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 2, 2009 Growler, courtesy juiceisloose. Pours a pretty clear, dark coppery brown color with hints of crimson. A small, foamy, tan head settles to a thin, smooth layer, leaving minimal spotty lacing behind. The aroma shows a nice base of cocoa and caramel, with hints of smoothing vanilla oats and some nice, fleshy pumpkin. A slight touch of coffee roast lingers in the background, while fresh ginger and soft clove lend complimentary spice. The flavor is very well balanced, with the choco-caramel malt and roast providing the perfect backdrop for the fresh pumpkin. The spicing is very subtle, as it should be, the ginger lending a bright note without becoming obtrusive in any way. Smooth and creamy on the palate, though a bit thin, the oats lend a nice silkiness. Sessionable as can be. I really dig this Maduro treatment. markwise (1179), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA

Pours a Maduro Brown color with a white head. Nose is tobacco, spices, nutmeg, pumpkin, and brown sugar. Flavor is similar with sweetness, pumpkin, brown sugar, and spices noticeable finishing with sweet and the trademarked Maduro tobacco-esque bitter abruptness. Interesting pumpkin twist on Maduro. Light to medium bodied and enjoyable overall. juiceisloose (671), Windermere, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 8, 2009 Growler from the brewery. Pours a dark brown color topped by a small foamy tan colored head that leaves some sudsy lacing behind. The aroma shows hints of pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg spices to go with the caramel and cocoa malt base. There is a hint of vanilla as well which gives it a nice pumpkin pie aroma. The flavor follows with the caramel and cocoa malts up front with the cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin spices. There is a touch of vanilla as well to go with the pie like flavors. Medium bodied with balanced carbonation leading to the pumkin spices on the finish. The maduro was a nice base beer for this treatment with the cocoa and caramel flavors it lends. Pours a dark brown cola color with one finger white head that settles slowly. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of pumpkin, spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, ground nuts, spicy esters, light chocolate and toffee. Flavor is much of the same with strong pumpkin pie and whipped cream flavors and notes of cinnamon, toffee, nutmeg, light mocha and cocoa notes. Generally medium body with a pleasing pumpkin and spice finish. Another winner from CCB. tpd975 (98), Riverview, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 6, 2009 A: Pours a nice nutty dark brown with a nice 1/2 finger tan head. Nice retention and lace.
S: Lots of pumpkin pie aromas up fronts. Cinnamon and nutmeg stand out but there is some clove in there as well. Light pumpkin notes with a roasty chocolate quality as well.
T: Not Good Gourd by any means but pretty tasty nonetheless. Spicy up front. We will call it all spice since the flavors run the gambit. Canned pumpkin makes an appearance as well. The finish is very maduro like. Good deal of roast with hints of chocolate and coffee.
M: Medium in body, slick mouthfeel.
D: Good, Maduro really can stand up to any treatment. Another fine brew.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 4, 2009 Deliscious brown ale that is very warming and very spicy. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 1, 2009 Growler pours out amber with tan head. The aroma begins big with pumpkin pie spices like cinnamon and nutmeg to go along with good old canned pumpkin and a sense of roastiness in the background. The taste starts with classic Maduro Brown Ale creaminess ushering in roasty malts, pumpkin pie spices and a mild amount of pumpkin. Midway it picks up a bit of chocolate, dark roasted coffee (or possibly dark roasted malts). The dark roastiness plays very nicely up against the spices and dash of pumpkin.
