Nose is heavy cedar, roasted nuts, and cocoa, slight coffeeish roast, and malt. Flavor is the same with the cedar blending beautifully and ends with a decrescendo of cedar out of sight. Very nice.

Nose is big on wood, cedar, and a nice healthy backbone of strong dark malts and caramel. Flavor starts off strong with cedar, and gradually gives way to the Bolita. Felt it was cedar-forward, but I dug it, nonetheless. Aroma captured me more than the flavor. yespr (12354), Copenhagen O, Denmark

The aroma has strong notes of cedar wood as well as medium notes of caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of cedar wood and medium notes of caramel, malt, and a bit of roasted malt, leading to a dry woody - cedar like finish. The body is light. Thanks a lot MadsBerg for sharing. Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Pours a clear orangey brown with a small, rough off-white head. Very spicy sweet chili-like aroma - again must be the cedar. Medium body, sweet caramel and nuts, a little low in carbonation. Again dominated by these amazingly interesting and exotic cedar accents. Some alcohol burn in the finsh. 161209 tarheels86 (799), Washington DC, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 4, 2009 Had this on tap at the Kickback’s Gastro Pub in Jacksonville, FL for the CCB tasting night. Except this version was aged on cigar box cedar and Johnny Walker Blue Label oak chips. Pours a murky deep brown with a thin, yellow head. Retarded big aroma of cedar cigar box, whiskey spiciness. Bit of orange peel and dark chocolate too. Taste is similar with an extremely dry body. Light mouthfeel. Very interesting. Yum. Aftertaste is only weak point. Not much whiskey or barrel flavor. Lots of resiny, citrusy dry cedar. jcwattsrugger (5563), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
