The flavor is a bit of a let down. The base beer is a little thin and the spice comes across a little too much in the flavor, but wow what a great smelling beer. tarheels86 (812), Washington DC, USA

Pours a deep, clear ruby with a thick yellow head that has awesome retention and lacing. Aroma is cherry Dr. Pepper, some brown sugar oatmeal. Can’t get raisins out of it. Taste is very light-bodied, easy to drink. Some black cherry soda. Meh. JW77 (10), USA

Pours a nice dark reddish brown. Smells of wonderful spices and raisins. Tastes just like its cookie counterpart cinnamon, raisins, bits of oat, brown sugar. gunhaver (1044), Tampa, Florida, USA

Poured a clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate roasted oatmeal, sweet spice and small coffee aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Solid roasted oatmeal cookie sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration. Standout complex brew.
