Handbottled, courtesy of MadsBerg. Pours dark brown to black with a chocolate brown head. Aroma is fruity and roasted malty. Lingering fruity, vanilla, light smoked and roasted malty flavoured. Smooth and fruity lingering into the finish.

Handbottled. Thx to lbrew2or3. Pitch black coloured. Dense dark brown head. Roast, coffee, sweetness, fruits, wood, chocolate in the aroma. Flavour of roast, berries, wood, spice, chocolate. vanilla, herbs. Full bodied. Roasty and sugary bitterness in the end. Smooth and balanced. Very well hidden alcohol. Very nice. I´ll use this to thank lbrew2or3 big time for the 7 CCB beers he forwarded to me in a trade. Very good stuff.

Handbottled. Entered to celebrate my rating number 15,300. A pitch black beer with a thin very dark brown head. The aroma has strong notes of roasted malt, soy sauce, wood, and some alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of soy sauce, roasted malt, caramel, wood, and prunes, leading to a dry woody finish. Thanks a lot MadsBerg for sharing.

Hand bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madsberg. Pours a pitch opaque black with a dense and creamy brown head that leaves a neat lacework. Aroma of burned malts, sweet vanilla and wood with a whiff of smoke. Solid body, very burned malts, woody, vanilla with an extreme malt astringency. Quite rough. 161209

500ml swingtop, pours black with creamy tan head. The aroma had some light red wine-berry notes, chocolate, and oak. Flavors have some dark sour fruit, berry, chocolate, ash, and light soy sauce. med body , full mouth feel, a touch slick. A mild berry red wine twang edge to Zhukov.

500ml swingtop once again courtesy of Andrew... Pours a mostly dense black pour with a medium sized tan head such that it shows plenty of life still... Aroma of boozy red fruit upfront and then the imperial stout qualities surface. Sweet after-aroma... Flavors are not as ashy as the previous incarnations of Zhukov that I’ve had although a little ashy bitterness comes through in the finish. Not as fruit and winey in the flavor. Port not too apparent unfortunately. Smooth full mouthfeel.

Black color with a thin tan sheen. Black licorice, astringent tobacco, boozy aromas. Oily mouthfeel. Boozy, burnt malt bitter flavors with dry bakers chocolate, mild vinous sourness. Another over the top brew i would have a hard time drinking more than a few sips of.
