33 cL bottle at Le Sous-Bock. Pours hazy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is malty, light wheaty note and mild spiced. Slight light oxidised malty flavoured, caramelish and flat. Sweet caramelish and light spiced finish.

Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze in Brigg. Murky gold, brief white fizzy head and low condition. Low malty sweet nose with hints of banana fruitiness and toffee, slightly citrusy in the mouth with a suggestion of spices and low toffee sweetness, short finish with gentle sweetness.

Came in a blue bottle which is quite unusual. Apart from that it was apretty run of the mill wheat beer. Subtle wheatness, some bitterness and thats about it.

Moderate murk. OJ diluted with low-cal lemonade. Peppery, papery, a bit thin with a hint of dryness. Pleasantly biscuity sweetness to finish. The chunk of coriander seed at the bottom was the best bit. Unconvincing, and as thin and synthetic-tasting as most French blanches.

Bottled, 330ml. Clouded pale yellow with slight head. Strange, but I always associate blue bottles with poisons. Thinnish Witbier with strong spicy notes, cloves in particular, some lemony notes, but all quite indistinguished. Had better.

indigo bottle(330ml). -Stale wheaty taste with notes of orange and coriander. Very artificial sweet candy finish. Not even close to be a decent Belgian wit.

A Mes rate: Random bottle picked up from the offie over the road from Lowlander and shared with Gert from Oud Beersel of all people. Cool blue bottle with silver label although Gert was not impressed with it’s beer preservation capabilities... Lemon and spice all round. Appearance only barely makes a 2. Very wheaty. Erm... yeah, loved it...

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a hazy golden with a small, white head. Sourish, citric nose. Fairly light body, somewhat soapy dominated as it is by coriander and oranges. Sourish also in the finish. 030307
