| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 12, 2005 (on bottle) Funky and tart like a saison, yeastd and clovdy like a wit and a slight bananadeel like a weisse, this impossible to style-sheet-manage, but who cares? Vert tart flavour, extreme citric finish, almost liek at fresh pilsner with lime in it. jonsiii (157), Fredericia, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 20, 2005 Bottled. A reasonably hazy blonde beer with little to no head. The aroma is soapy and herbal and a bit perfumed. The taste is wheaty, medicinal and herbal. A bit lemony but a bit thin. Definitely shows its French interpretation of the style. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 22, 2005 Bottle. Slightly hazy golden colour with a slim white head. Sweet candy, citrus and barnyardy aroma. Taste is somewhat disappointing after the smell; typical witbier-ry. Light bodied, with a bit of a watery mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 18, 2005 Lemon-meringue, candy-like sweet yet lightly tart citrus aroma with an herbal tone. Opaque golden-yellow body with shy white head that diminishes to cover. Subdued spiciness with herbal, grassy hop/spice flavour and an overall mildly sweet lemon flavour. Low carbonation with medium-light body is somewhat still in the mouth. Bottle sampled with asheft and Pitpit. asheft (1438), Marburg, Germany
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 18, 2005 Hazy yellow with a touch of orange and a head that very rapidly disappears to form a fizzy ring. Farmhouse horseblanket comes out first in the aroma, followed by a piney citrus that is probably from both hops and orange peel sort of smells like cumquats. Also, winey and black cherry notes in the aroma. The flavour was surprisingly subdued for such a rich and complex aroma, but it was still very pleasant: horseblanket and lemony-orange with a little sourness, and mild sweetness that’s not opposed by any bittering. Light body with mild carbonation and a clean finish. Refreshing; I would have this beer again, but I wouldn’t go out of my way. tomxcs (315), Golden, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 18, 2005 Clear golden, hazy body with a small white head. Nose of citrus, banana, cloves, and coriander -- generally spicy. Fruity, hop flower flavor typical of witbiers, although a little weak. Slightly dry mouthfeel. Fairly low carbnation. Bottle conditioned; nice artisanal witbier from Savoie.
