Bright golden-orange color. A very sweet nose of citrus fruits and spice. On the palate, same fruitiness leaning more toward exotic ones like mango. Finishes off-dry. Quite nice, and easy to drink. Alcohol well hidden, nicely incorporated. patrick767 (2016), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Jan 4, 2009 bottle - Pours yellow-orange with almost no head. It has big flakes of yeast floating around in it. It smells sweet and fruity, rather like cherries. The flavor is sweet and the fruit notes are interesting. I’m thinking lime for some reason. It’s medium bodied and a little bubbly on the palate, finishing just a little dry. Good beer. Jukkabro (2981), Tampere, Finland Dec 10, 2008 Dark yellow colored with little white head. Sweet and fruity aroma with peachy and raisinny notes, mild alcohol also comes up. Medium bodied, crispy palate. Flavor is also sweet with same raisins, aftertaste has mild alcohol with still lasting raisins. Not the traditional BSA, still ok brew. ZiggyG (131), Gladstone, Oregon, USA Sep 3, 2008 11.2 oz. bottle. Pours bright gold with a ring of foam around the edge. Lots of tan sediment. Nose is pure sweetness, doughy sugared plums. Taste is surprisingly thin. sugary raisins up front. Light to medium body. Medium carb. Turns acrid in the back of the throat. Overly sweet - no balance. I can’t finish it, its aweful. Allen (1282), Switzerland Jun 28, 2008 Bottled 33cl. It pours a hazy golden, slightly green? beer with a white head. The nose is of coconut, thyme, cinnamon, litchi, orange, vanilla and peach accompanied by malt and yeast - a wonderfully fruity and spicy aroma. Lots of thyme and fruit showing up in the taste. Nice lacing. Slightly peppery. The alcohol is surprisingly well hidden. Medium bodied. Some vitamin tablets, litchi and mango appearing. Amazing peppery finish with a hint of cinnamon.
