Poured a hazy golden with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate tart fruit and alcohol aroma. Medium body, thick particles wth lively carbonation. Medium balanced fruity sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish with a very small alcohol tone. Good brew. mabel (2626), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Apricot spice aroma with strong sweet pine resin and wood notes. Cloudy, brown orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head and some bits floating at the bottom. Flavour is sweet pine resin and burnt wood, some floral, something like ginger and a smoky background. Medium body has some astringency. Very interesting aromatic characteristics, alcohol is noticeable but not overwhelming -- certainly shows shades of snowy yeti slopes. jerc (3954), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Golden yellow body with a good sized head at first, but it fades rather quickly. Strange aroma is kind of neat, odd fruity character (pineapple? mango or apricot) moderate spice that I do not really know, light floral note. Similar flavours with a very fruity main component with the spice as an accent, very light hints of alcohol. Smooth average palate. I like this, but it really does not make me want a second one. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 5, 2007 330 ml bottle. Deep golden brown pour with a spare light tan head that drops off quickly. Aroma of figs, dates, and dark caramel. Smooth and rich, lightly carbonated, with a medium to full body. Molasses sweetneess up front that is offset by some peppery bitterness. Finishes slightly sweet, but there is a pleasing light tartness as well. Easy to drink, and the alcohol not really a factor. cking (1041), North Canton, Ohio, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 1, 2007 Rated 12/29/06: Golden yellow, crisp, refreshing, and really a treat to be enjoyed. This Yeti sparkles through a vibrant hazy gold color in the glass with a huge white head and lots of white cloudy lacing. Sour maltiness with a very earthy yeast scent. Bready and full, the sourness parts to a quick sweetness before a crisp smooth swallow. Flavor is addictive and very good on a grand scale. Grapes and a tiny pinch of citrus come through. The alcohol is well masked which could make this dangerous as a session brew. Probably the best beer I’ve had from France.
