Moderate amber with a 1 1/2" fluffish head. Slightly peach hop aroma with a lovely malt-dusted bouquet. Malts and soapy hops in flavor with nice, fruity esters. Well balanced.

What the...? Is this apple cider or a Belgian ale? That’s all I detected in this thick, sugary brew. And the particles suspended in the glass might be interesting but I found it a bit disturbing. Not my bag, baby.

Pours with a brilliantly clear, gold to almost copper color. It is topped by a frothy, barely one-finger thick, off white colored head. The aroma has an interesting fruitiness to it that is a mix of berries of tropical fruit. It is hard to pinpoint, but perhaps it is best described as a mix of strawberries, guava and ripe kiwi; it is almost more like a fruity bubble gum with its large almost artificial fruitiness. The aroma is certainly quite distinctive, and I really can’t smell much else.

The flavor is quite a bit drier, and much more tart than I would have guessed given the aroma. The artificial fruitiness is still here in the flavor, though it is toned down a bit because of the dryness of the beer. The body of this beer is quite light, especially for a beer of this strength. I would not say it is a quaffing beer though, as the flavors don’t quite lend itself to that. This beer is totally different than I was expecting, much more funky & tart than a random French brewery might suggest.

In the 330 mL bottle from Beertopia. Pours a clear butterscotch gold with a medium white head that dies down rather fast. Leaves a fairly good wall of lacing. The aroma is, strangely enough, that of a fried egg. The flavor is like a lemon-lime sweet soda pop. Has a fizzy effervescence with a mild tart finish. This beer does not even have a remote suggestion of hop bitterness. Orange peachy citrus emerges at warming. Strange little beer.

Appears a hazy, semi-transparent light gold. Solid amounts of CO2 pump up towards the top despite the remnants of the plentiful yeasty chunks. A small off white head slowly fades into a mild, foamy cap. Scattered streaks of lacing are left around the glass. Smell is of candy coated nuts ala Boston Baked Beans candy(remember those things?), along with lemongrass, vanilla, golden raisins, raw sugar, & ripe pears. Taste is of the mentioned aromas along with flavors of refreshing carambola, honeydew, and a light grape tartness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, fizzy up front with white grapes, chardonnay/pinot notes that slide along the palate. It drinks sort of like a light champagne with some alcohol noticed in the mix.

Bottle. Poured a medium and slightly hazy golden color with a smaller sized white head. Some floaters. Aromas of yeast, lemons, and somewhat fruity. Tastes of sweet apples, citrus, light yeast, and I was getting a light cookie doughiness. Light alcohol in the finish.

Bottle from Footbalm. Clear golden color. Aroma is fruity (I agree with the Blueberry description) and spicy. Taste is nice.....somewhat like a tripel, but definitely fruitier than im used to. Interesting beer.

Bottle, poured a slighty hazy light golden color with a thin fleeting head. Very strong aromas of spicy yeast fresh fruit(i.e. blueberries as described in other reviews, but there was more than just blueberries and I could not put my finger on what else was there). Nice rich flavor, sweet with a nice background bitterness and spice fromt he yeast. Good carbonation and a clean finish. Quality beer.
