A very fresh tasting beer. Lemon, pepper, malt flavors. I really liked this one.

Light and clear, looks like a low alcohol pilsner. Well hopped, with a good piney aroma. Light body with a rich full flavor. Finishes a bit sour.

Pours a slightly cloudy pale amber with a thin white head. Smell is spicy and fruity with hints of blueberries and grass. Creamy and well balanced, starts with a smooth sweet vanilla caramel malt flavor, then some fruit and spices. Does a pretty good job of hiding the booze for a beer with subtle flavors.

Lots of spice, clove and banana in the aroma and flavor. Slightly sweet, lots of carbonation and hints of lemon. This was a really good brew.

Poured a hazy yellow color with a thin white head. The aroma was had citrus and floral notes as well as some lemon. The flavor starts off malty and sweet. Yeasty flavor in the middle. Semi-dry finish.

Happy Day after St. Patty’s Day! After finishing up at the Smokehouse last night, we meandered over to the Winking Lizard. This was my sixth brew of St. Patty’s Day. This brew had the misfortune of being sampled immediately after the Jacobite ale from the fine brewers of Traquair notoriety. Kinda reminds me of the day I test drove an Acura RSX immediately following a white knuckled, sweaty palmed joy ride in a Subaru WRX. Nose of wheat, sour yeast, & citrus. The brew pours a medium amber is an average frothy white head that is mostly diminishing without much lace. The sweet flavor has ok balance but is easily forgettable. The light to moderate body is lively and dry.

[Bottle] This poured a nice orangish golden color with a very nice head. The aroma right off gave that is was a Belgium then I got a underlying off smell Metal. This was too strong so when I gave the first tatse it was a good belgium ruined wtith a overwhelming metalic taste. The metalic taste was hard to shake. I hope this was just the one batch and the rest are ok. I will try again one day.

Cloudy orange/yellow with a small white head, some sediment. Sweet malt aroma with some fruit and some spice. Taste is rather sweet, honey like with little hop or spice, but the higher abv is well masked. A little sweaty at the end with some bitterness. Easy drinking but not on par with a lot of the great Belgian Strongs out there.
