Bottle. I am very impressed with both the brown and blond Ciney’s. The blonde is a bit more fruity in the nose. The flavor is more of a light citrus tinge with a nice sweet aftertaste similar to other blondes but more complete overall.

Oddly enough I’m getting mango in the nose. The color is golden with a thin white head. The flavor has hints of grape and bitter apple. The mouthfeel is somewhat astringent, and the aftertaste is a little bit bitter. Good but not great.

(Bottle 25 cl) A slightly sour nose, but far from sour in flavour where the sweetish malts dominate. Beautiful golden colour. Long lasting palate. Nice abbey beer. 020893

Bottle. Golden colour with a medium white head. Fruity yeasty aroma and a sweet spicy yeasty taste. Medium body and a sweet finish.

(Bottled) Clear, deep golden color with a smallish, fading but lacy head. Sweetish, very honey-fruity and slightly yeasty aroma. Sweet, malty body with honey, watermelon and a grassy-hoppy finish. Medium-bodied, slicky-smooth and easily drinkable palate with balanced carbonation. Some fizziness and a hint of alcohol in the finish. A quite nice, sweet-honeyish blonde with a decent body and good balance (this sentence sounds like I’m rating something else than beer ;). Some similarity to Saku Sorts and the like.

Tap. A sourdough aroma. Medium orange-yellow color. Fruity malt flavor with good body. A nice blonde ale.

Good one, although I prefeer the Brune one. BUt this is good, sweet but not too sweet, I mean it is a good sort of beer.

Bottle: Light orange colour, quite clear for a blonde, has a light carbonation. Head is off white, foamy and quickly fades. Aroma is complex, alcohol, sweet, bread dough at first and then half way through the bottle peach, pineapple comes out. Taste also progresses through the bottle, the first sips are malty, fruity sweet and finishes with a nice bitterness and quite dry.
