Dark ruby brown, medium-sized tan head. Sour milk, malty nose (bottle is too old propably). Fruity, typical low quality bruin with raisins, nuts ... and cardboard. Very metallic flavor. Don’t be fooled with Alken-Maes who calls this "Cuvëe". xproudfoot (729), Paleolithic, Pennsylvania, USA

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | May 4, 2006 Draught at Delirium Café in Gothenburg, Sweden. Description of the pouring: The tap went out half way into the glass, the guy behind the bar continued to pourfoam into a big glass, waited until the foam had settled and poured it into my beer. About the worst thing I’ve seen, but didn’t feel like complaining today...
Dark red-brwon color, big beige fluffy head. Smells like a mix of old red wine and vinegar. Initially very sour taste, faint butterscotch aftertaste. Almost a bit flat and watery, but that might be due to the above described pouring technique. Low to none bitterness. A bit sweet taste behind the sour taste.
Has it gone bad as it being the last in the keg, or is the beer really suposed to taste this way??? maupie (620), Roosendaal, Netherlands
