Bottled. Pours clear and dark amber with an off-white, foamy head that disappears fast. Lots of carbonation. Nose of malt with notes of nuts and fruit. Sweet flavour with caramel and malt. Watery palate. Medium bodied. Little bitterness at the end. Disappointing.

Bottle. Ruby brown, off-white head. Aroma of malts, brown sugar. Flavour is sweet, soft, malty, brown sugar. A slightly dry finish. Maybe a bit too sweet, but an OK dubbel.

Objectively speaking: Old (BB 2007) bottle which evidently suffered a bit from its advanced age, but still shows a solid malt background.
I like: No alcohol whatsoever. Pleasant toasty malt with never too sweet caramel character. Fruity (strawberry). Very good nutty notes. Has kept a firm and textured mouthfeel despite its age.
I dislike: Metallic/bloody/coiny edges, likely all from the oxidation. Not too aromatic. Almost headless.
