A brown beer with no head. The aroma is fruity and a bit sour with hints of alcohol. The flavor is very fresh and of a powerful ale. It has a great sweetness and a nice bitterness. Great balance - a fantastic beer.

(Bottle 25 cl) Dark brown, pretty tall head that collapses though. Very malty notes. Both fruity and spicy in a good balance between sweetness and bitterness. A very decent dubbel indeed. 040893

25 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden hazzlenut brown with a lacing tan head. Aroma is mild spiced, dry malty and with a light yeast note. Medium sweet breadish flavour with a distinct spice note following. Goes into a mild breadish malt finish. Yeasty fruit note into the far finish. Average dubbel imho.

Bottled. Nut brown. Sugary aroma with notes of cherries. Malty and rich in flavour, coffee and chocolate are predominant. Dryish finish with some grassy bitterness, but still a mild blanket of chocolate soothes it.

Bottled. Dark amber colour, small brown head. Aroma is raisins plum and some glue. Flavour is caramellish malts, burnt sugar and plum. Smooth, and hides alcohol in flavour, but the glueishness in aroma I guess is due to alcohol. Great palate.
