Fin (2177), Merton, Oxfordshire, England May 25, 2007 Bottle picked up from Beers of Europe late April. Poured dark brown, aroma was touch fruity with a bit of yeast, tasted sweet, malty and fruity, it was nice enough but not exciting.

Dark brown with a large beige head, fine lacings. Aroma heavy malty (caramel, brown sugar, fruity), light hoppy. Flavor moderate/heavy sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Malty aftertaste. Pours dark ruby head with a whitish tan head. Strong aroma of fruits and sweet malts. Initial taste is metallic. Minimal finish.
