12oz bottle from Belgium. Dark brown with red tint and small beige head. Aroma is a little mollases, darker malt and alc. Sweet brown fruit, with banana, alc, red fruit, okay. Medium, slightly chalky but medium carbonated body. Pretty cloyingly sweet but I can dig on some of the fruit flavors.

Aug 30, 2008 Bottled. Pours clear and dark amber with an off-white, foamy head that disappears fast. Lots of carbonation. Nose of malt with notes of nuts and fruit. Sweet flavour with caramel and malt. Watery palate. Medium bodied. Little bitterness at the end. Disappointing.

Aug 14, 2008 Bottle. Ruby brown, off-white head. Aroma of malts, brown sugar. Flavour is sweet, soft, malty, brown sugar. A slightly dry finish. Maybe a bit too sweet, but an OK dubbel.

Dark brown with a large beige head, fine lacings. Aroma heavy malty (caramel, brown sugar, fruity), light hoppy. Flavor moderate/heavy sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Very tasty!

Jul 21, 2008 25 cl bottle, bought in shop in Oostende. Brown, ruby color, fine but disappering beige head. Aroma is dark fruits. Flavor is sweet and fruity. Malty aftertaste.
