lithilorn (117), Covilhã, Portugal Jan 20, 2008 Bottle. dark brown body and tan head. sweet roasted aroma. light coffee flavor. a medium beer. rpattinson (82), Amsterdam, Netherlands Mar 2, 2006 Dark lager - Schwarzbier.
Dark brown colour, even tan head; cream, caramel, toffee and dates aroma; sweetish taste with cream, toffee and roast aromas; bitterish finish with burnt, liquorice and cream aromas.
Has an excellent dark malt aroma. A little less impressive in the mouth, but with a strong roasty finish. Really not bad at all. I don’t understand why the brewery call it a Münchner. It’s way too roasty and much more like a sweetish Schwarzbier.
The beer is brewed in Portugal by Drinkin, a subsidiary of the Brazilian Cintra Group. Fin (2357), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Jan 23, 2006 Bottled
Dark brown in colour, quite sweet but not too cloyingly so, didn’t quite know what style this was when I tried it in Lisbon but certainly one of the better beers tasted, just noticed it was Brazilian I hadnt even realised this when I had drank it. Dark ruby color with medium expresso head. Sweet, roasted aroma. Very soft palate with coffee and some roast. Some roast also in aftertaste. Similar to Finnish Hartwall Dark Lager. ogivlado (2399), Zagreb, Croatia Aug 1, 2004 Bottled(330ml). -dark brown coloured with short head, nice roasted aroma with some coffee hints but a little bit too sweet
