CUJO (339), Brooklyn, New York, USA Oct 31, 2009 sample RnH: so here’s the thing.... used this beer as a palate cleanser between some Barley Wines and such. In comparison, this beer was thin and flimsy... however I need to revisit this beer again to be fair... Leighton (234), New York, New York, USA Oct 26, 2009 On tap at Rattle n Hum. Pours a rich gold with a bubbly white head. Nose of hops and some sweet malts. Flavor is quite deep. Plenty of hops with some yeasty notes. Pretty heavy. Finish is mildly bitter and crisp. Very tasty. potbeercollege (244), Boulder, Colorado, USA Aug 10, 2009 Draught from Brewery. Dark yellow, thin fine white head. Lacy. Strong floral/earthy hop aroma with sweetness from malts. Very hoppy floral taste with light sweetness but ends with lasting bitterness... very hoppy for a blonde ale. Great Blondie blklab2007 (931), Connecticut, USA Jul 12, 2009 bottle poured a hazy golden straw color with a huge foamy white head. aroma has sweet fruit, citrus, wheat, and some yeast. light mouth feel with peppy carbonation. flavor has a wheat malted body, citrus bitter hops, a bit of honey, and some yeast. thornecb (1733), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA May 13, 2009 Pours deep gold into a shaker. Bright white micro head tophats rim and does not recede. Sharp resin aromas. Crisp with underlying band-aid, biscuit, crackers and bread upfront. Resinous hop finish. cbeers21 (563), Miami, Florida, USA May 13, 2009 Draft. Clearish deep golden with wafts of cereal and citrus off the top. A lingering grapefruited and powerful stinging bitterness emerges out of nowhere in the late palate for an unusual conclusion to a relatively tame forefront. I enjoyed the rapid variation in character. BMan1113VR (2752), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA May 10, 2009 Bottle. Pours with a hazy golden orange body with a fluffy off-white head a top. Apricot, honey biscuit, hops, citrus, tangerine, mango, and various exotic fruits on the nose. Taste is bitter (extremely so for a blond), and fruity, with hints of lemon and earth. A touch of malty cracker on the finish. Over carbonated, dry. Very nice blond. Alcohol is well hidden. blutt59 (2042), Dallas, Texas, USA May 9, 2009 bottle, amber color with lots of foam, good aroma of peach, malts and hop, flavor is lemon, tangerine, malty biscuit, finish is bitter
