Very nice light sweet aroma with some celery, strawberry, kiwi, lychee and citrusy notes. Cloudy, yellow-orange body with many tiny bubbles throughout and a medium-lasting creamy white head. Flavour is again citrusy, lychee and quite hoppy. Light-medium body, good complexity. Nice togetherness. bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 18, 2007 Well, I’m rating this as an American Pale Ale, cuz that’s what it was in my book. Either way, a nice showing, very flavored, very drinkable. The aroma was citrus and floral hops. Pour was golden colored, hazy with some sedimentation, the only blonde/golden ale aspect to this thing, very excellent lacing. Head a little weak, but for a blonde, it holds muster. The flavor was a little wheaty underneath solid citrus and piney hops, herbal, a little musty. Mouthfeel was moderate for the style, light overall, again very drinkable, well-flavored, though. mephisto (1144), Taiwan

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 16, 2006 Bottle (750ml). at Decemberfest 2006 - blankboy’s bottle. Poured pale cloudy yellow with a huge fluffy white head. Sharp, dry, peppery/spicy yeast aroma, with tart lemon, grapefruit and resin hops ... there really is sweet malt in the background, it’s just hard to discern. Taste - this has a BIG bitter kick to it - peppery and lemony, with a long grapefruit pith bitter finish ... there’s very mild fruity malt along for the ride, but only as a passenger. Soft, dry and almost watery body, incredibly astringent, decently carbonated, with alcoholic character emerging in the long bitter finish. I quite liked it - bitter yet fruity. blankboy (3207), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 15, 2006 Bottle shared with the gang at Decemberfest 2006 -- my bottle. Pours a cloudy orange-yellow with a huge lasting fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet and hoppy along with some fruit -- nice! Flavour’s very hoppy (lots of citrus hops), fruity and quite fresh and refreshing. Medium bodied. A nice surprise, sure it’s a little one-dimensional and you have to like lots of citrus hops but I really liked it!
