Commercial Description:
Bailey's Ale is a hoppy blond ale named after our happy blonde labrador. It's made with a bit of malted wheat and Centennial hops for a refreshing citrusy finish. It's unfiltered and bottle-conditioned for freshness. We hope you enjoy this beer.

750ml Bottle @ Decemberfest 2006; thanks to blankboy: Pours orange/yellow in colour, terrific thick head. The aroma is lemon and grapefruit. First sip will cure what’s hurtin’ ya: freakin’ hops and tons of them. Like a hop donkey punch, after which your tormentor offers you an almond and some lemon juice. More bitter than my friend when he heard I tried 31 new beers while he was at work.

Bottle @ Doug’s. Thanks to Harry (I think?) Cloudy yellow. Nose is orange/grapefruit hop. Flavor is lemon rind, astringent hops and a little malt. Overly bitter.

Bottle @ Decemberfest.
Pours hazy amber gold, large fine creamy top (3+)
Soapy, strong hoppy nose. Plenty of hops here. Citric, raspberry fruits and vegetable like finish.
High carbonated with mounting hop punch. Sweeter at bottom. Citrus, green lime. One dimensional big hoppy ale.

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, spices, and yeast. The flavor is citrus, yeast, and alcohol. Lots of sediment. Good beer.

(07.03.06) One pint, 9.4 oz brown bottle from Bierkraf, , Brooklyn, NYC. Poured hazy golden yellow with average white head. Soft carbonation. Fruity aroma. Light-to-medium bodied ale that starts dryish with citrusy grapefruit flavor. Finished dry with light hop bitterness. A very good drinkable ale. Enjoyed with beer-loving family members during the 4th of July weekend.

Light, golden, cloudy pour with lots of foamy head. Light & sweet aroma. Taste is lightly grainy with plenty of hops to finish. Seems like a pretty good start, but the hop/malt balance was not quite right. Refreshing, but not as good as it could have been.

Pours a clear bright effervescent golden with a large, airy, and sticky-lacing white head. Aroma has a nice, mild fresh citrus hoppy presence with some light pale maltiness. Body starts lightly sweet and floral with a touch of grapefruit rind and citrusy bittering hops. Finishes drier and bittersweet, a decent pale ale.

Bottle sampled with Beerded_one. Pours hazy golden with a large fluffy white head. Aroma of citrus hops, spices, and yeast. The flavor is bitter, citrus, yeast, slight spices, my bottle is slightly tainted though, chunks of sediment just floating around everywhere. Still a decent brew.
