Commercial Description:
Bailey's Ale is a hoppy blond ale named after our happy blonde labrador. It's made with a bit of malted wheat and Centennial hops for a refreshing citrusy finish. It's unfiltered and bottle-conditioned for freshness. We hope you enjoy this beer.

Turbid golden pour with huge fluffy head. The head lingers, and gets bigger with every repour. My first pour, into my Stone tulip, was about 80% head. The aroma was floral, hoppy, and spicy, with a good dose of citrus and tropical fruit, although the citrus dominated. The palate was lively, well carbonated, and medium, with taste components of pale malty honey, a lot of hopcitrus, floral dry spiciness, and some yeasty funkiness. The bottle conditioning is apparent. If we call this a blonde ale, then it is in the upper 90th percentile of blonde ales for me. This one was very good;certainly worthy of a re-buy when I am in Super Saver again.

Strong citrus-orange-grapefruit aroma has a mildly chalky undertone. Hazy blonde body is topped by a decent and lasting, fine bubbled white head. Strong bitterness with a heavy, tart, citrus hop character and a light chalky, husky grain flavour and a very mineralic finish. Strong carbonation to the light body. Bottle (State Line Liquors, MD, Oct-05) sampled with GonZoBeeR, MartinT, Rastacouere and Siroy.

Wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was on sale so I grabbed it. Insane amount of head on a gentle pour, thick like meringue, and a lot of sediment in the bottom that came rushing out at the end. Hops and yeast are what stuck out to me, and even though I prefer mine malty, this went down nice. Might be good on a summer night; it’s light and refreshing, but in no way weak.

A mostly lasting large creamy white head tops up a hazy light yellow body. Moderate lacing. No particles. Few small bubbles. Aroma presents malt being light grain with hay overtones. Hops are moderate floral... Yeast character is moderate earth. Also, there are . Flavor is medium acidic while development is mineral with salty notes. Low complexity. Finish is medium . Light to medium body... watery texture... Fizzy carbonation...

Pale cloudy gold, nice tall white head displays generous lacing. Soft American hops want to tantalize the nose, sweaty and with light earthiness and astringent woody backbones. Grows pretty mineral in mouth, chalky even, has nice floral characteristics, but suffers a lot from Cisco’s bad habit to forget about malt. Light bodied, extremely carbonated.

Any first impressions?
-A misty blonde complexion supports a healthy head, tracing the tulip with lacing.
-Kindly hay harbors plenty of citrus fruit and grassy hoppiness in the aroma.
-Crunchy, creamy hay proposes generous hop flavors.
-The lively, frothy carbonation endemic to Cisco is still there, and as always, might be hyperactive for some.

What if you dig deeper?
-A healthy resinous hop bitterness pursues the conversation, joined by chalky yeast.
-Dry wooden memorandums salute politely.
-The soft voice of saltiness is overheard.
-A personable companion to their Summer of Lager.

Bottle; no date.
