22 ounce bottle from the Beverage Warehouse in Winooski, VT (July 2008), sampled a few minutes out of the fridge from a Duvel glass. Immense perfectly snowy, smooth head recedes slowly with little lacing above the very cloudy deep gold body....musty, earthy aroma with floral (jasmine) and light citrus (lemon) hints, somewhat dusty and old -- in a good way -- seeming....earthy, lightly tart, somewhat mineralic body, very crisp and quaffable, a little on the full side, clean and bright and extremely refreshing, drier than most....no world-beater, but at this moment on a very hot and humid night, just what I want in a witbier.

A hazy milkey wit with a thin white head. In aroma, nice perfumey wit with mashed bananas. In mouth, a bizarre candied ginger taste, a bit bizarre. Lighter bodied. On tap at Cisco Brewpub, Logan Airport, Nov. 15 2009.

A tasty, relatively light beer. Had from the tap at Rattle n Hum. Pours a nice amber-gold with a light, white head. Nose of citrus and light florals. Flavor is slightly bitter and sour, with some yeasty character and some spiciness. Crisp finish. Pretty good.

Bottle shared by JW77. Gold pour, white head. Spicy and yeasty aroma leads to a fairly watery beer. Some wheat and spices are evident, but not enough body or flavor to be a very good representative of the style.

Tap @ Publick House, Brookline, Mass. Pours a clear gold with a decent white head. Aroma is yeast, citrus, and a slight bit of clove. Taste is yeast up front, with a citrus/yeast/clove ending to it - overall the palate was a tad on the watery side, which was unfortunate. I wanted to like this, but it could be much more than it is.

First 2/3 poured clear yellow and tastes light and refreshing with great citrus elements. Last 1/3 pours a huge amount of yeast and looks like 2 parts milk and 1 part orange juice. Wonderfully chewy and yeasty.

I had Cisco Grey Lady at Franks Italian restaurant in New York. The appearance is a cloudy yellow with a thick, airy white head. The aroma is light and spicy with some sugar syrup. The flavor is sweet, almost mimicing a shandy. I did not enjoy this beer at all.

Pours a straw yellow color with a white head. Aroma is malty, spicy, and a hint of honey. Flavor is fruity, tea, spicy, with a bitter finish.

Reviewed 6/1/2009 (bottle 53degF): Pours a very clear, very pale yellow colored body, looks like a cider. Small wispy head, white in color, very quickly diminishing. Effervescent aroma once swirled, some citrus and light fruit, like pear. Some funkiness too. Some funky taste, drying. Malty sweet, with a pretty clean finish. Not very flavorful. Waiting to warm. Funky fruity flavors, not my thing.
