riversideAK (1456), Shoreline, Washington, USA May 15, 2008 Bottle from RCL. Thanks Raymond! Aroma of light English Malts, caramel, light metal and some fruitiness. Hazy amber color with no head. Somewhat fruity malt flavors with a good dose of English flavors. Hardly any noticeable hops to speak of. There really just isn’t anything going on here. Not horrid, just pretty boring.
canary dog (370), Rutland, Vermont, USA Jul 14, 2008 A beautifully-colored and fresh tasting brew with a lovely tight head. However, despite the well-balanced flavor, it is missing body. Slight spicyness in the somewhat mundane finish. Decent but not necessarily worth the price. jameswolfe (88), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Jul 12, 2008 Not bad. Its an easy drinking pale ale. A little bit of hops, a little bit of fruit. The finish is short, but this is refreshing during a hot sticky July. martinboer (1284), Amsterdam, Netherlands Jun 20, 2008 Bottle from Whole Foods, Hadley, MA. Amber body. Creamy and spicy nose. Really hoppy with an excellent bitter finish. Nice floral feel with fruity flavours, including watermelon. Prickly mouthfeel. Nice finish. TheGent (11), , Massachusetts, USA Jun 18, 2008 was suprised with how good it was. 24oz bottle. merky orange copper color with light sediment. Pours big head that reduced to small head that lasted through an entire pint. low carbination but it didnt quit even after sitting through a slow tasteing. Smelled of coriander and grass. but the taste was the kicker with a mossiness and watermellon which i have not tasted in a beer before. tjw (4), , Massachusetts, USA does not count Jun 18, 2008 Subtle aroma. I like the brownish orange color. This beer is less hoppy than most pales I’ve had. Lightly carbonated. Good smooth finish.
