| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 20, 2001 Non-destinct aroma with a good head. Nice golden appearance. Smooth flavor with not alot of character. Light malt and light on the hops. A little sweet (corn)? Middle of the road carbonation. Better then I expected anyway. City Cream ale is much better than the other versions of this drink except of course for the New Glarus. Call me crazy but this tastes good. Underrated in my view. If more people had tried this their point of view might echo mine or I just love wisconsin beer. Thank you JPDIPSO for getting me this brand of beer. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 19, 2004 Hmmm. Much to my surprise I actually like this. Again, like other City Brewery beers, it's not a standout in its field, but this one has some flavor and has a nice if somewhat ordinary hop floral character in aroma and taste. I still miss it. Light golden color with a mild floral/malt aroma. Some corn flavors you might expect in a cream ale but these distract a bit in this one. Some light fruit flavors in the finish. heykevin (1269), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 25, 2002 Light floral hop aroma. Decent malt character, does not come off as being adjuncty. Hop flavor comes and goes without leaving too distinct an impression. This beer definitley has ale characteristics, with an underlying fruitiness.
