2004 ABR. Light amber, off-white head. Reasonably lasting but not overly so. Malty aroma. Fairly well balanced. Not bad. Next to the Cream Ale, probably City brewing’s best beer. Not much lace or visible carbonation.

Dark amber color, small white head that faded quick but left behind a small lace.Nice malty hoppy aroma with a mild grapefruit coming through as well as a very mild pine like presence, almost smells like Juicyfruit Gum.Mild malty taste with a strong hoppiness and a mild caramel side that comes in a little late but still it’s there. There is a little grapefruit coming through as well but not as much as the aroma would lead you to believe there really is.The finish is light with mild bitter hop finish. Not bad but could be better. It seems more like a pale ale then an Oktoberfest IMO.Thanks to GrainbeltGuzzler for sending this brew my way.

Orangeish color with decent head, almost disgusting aroma. Flavor was bitter and it just didn't sit well. A very cheap Oktoberfest brew however.

good beer, nice malt but still smooth, not the most flavorful oktoberfest, but it goes down pretty good, just don't let it get warm

From a bottle. Pours a copper-orange with an initially thick, light tan head. Not much in the way of aroma. Taste is quite malty at first with a sudden infusion of hops that lingers after swallowing. Personally, I liked the balance of sweet against bitter. I though the beer was slightly overcarbonated but not bad. Decent beer for the price.

Uh...off-puting aroma of diapers/vomit/bile. Definitely not good. Pretty sweet, carboard tasting...I just can’t get past the whole body excretion thing. I didn’t even finish my 6 oz. sample.

Overly sweet malty body not very well balanced with the hops. A typical attempt at duplicating a traditional style, but going too far. I suppose it’s better to have too much than too little, but it makes this beer more difficult to drink. Overall, it’s not that bad, but I drank it inbetween having two of its better German competitors.

Golden color with good thick head. Unpleasant alcohol odor. Unpleasant taste...hard to explain what it tastes like, but its not good.
