The aroma is malty and somewhat hoppy but lacked something. An understated malty dry somewhat creamy flavor with a touch of spice. heykevin (1269), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

Sharp hop mouthfeel. Lingering dryness. One of the best Marzen styles I have had. Frankly, it smelled like vomit. Probably won’t ever drink it again. A very good beer. nutty flavor. I had my own pitcher of this and the last glass was even better than the first which says alot about the smoothness. Alot of darker beers get bitter after several in a row but this didn’t. Creamy is a good discription also, I agree with the Beer Baron on that.. I rate it an A
