Bottle. An orange color with rising bubbles and a nice white head. The aroma is malty and somewhat hoppy but lacked something. An understated malty dry somewhat creamy flavor with a touch of spice.

Decently assertive maltiness, with good caramel sweetness. Hops are muted but still quite decent.

I found a case of this at the local supermarket for just over $6. It was about 5 months out of season, but still tasted pretty good.

Take a good german Oktoberfest and add a can of light beer. That’s about it. Nothing to objectionable just not all that a oktoberfect needs to be.

After drinking City Brew this stuff is the bomb. It is the best City Brewery has to offer. Very flavorful with a nice finish.

Autumn orange color. Head was non existent. Sweet aroma. Prominent alcoholic kick upfront. Sharp hop mouthfeel. Lingering dryness. One of the best Marzen styles I have had.

Also tasted this at the La Crosse Oktoberfest. Frankly, it smelled like vomit. Probably won’t ever drink it again.

I tasted this beer at LaCrosse Oktoberfest on tap. A very good beer. nutty flavor. I had my own pitcher of this and the last glass was even better than the first which says alot about the smoothness. Alot of darker beers get bitter after several in a row but this didn’t. Creamy is a good discription also, I agree with the Beer Baron on that.. I rate it an A
