Oct 4, 2002 Bottle. An orange color with rising bubbles and a nice white head. The aroma is malty and somewhat hoppy but lacked something. An understated malty dry somewhat creamy flavor with a touch of spice.

Jul 30, 2002 I found a case of this at the local supermarket for just over $6. It was about 5 months out of season, but still tasted pretty good.

May 15, 2002 Take a good german Oktoberfest and add a can of light beer. That’s about it. Nothing to objectionable just not all that a oktoberfect needs to be.

Mar 8, 2002 After drinking City Brew this stuff is the bomb. It is the best City Brewery has to offer. Very flavorful with a nice finish.

Nov 23, 2001 Autumn orange color. Head was non existent. Sweet aroma. Prominent alcoholic kick upfront. Sharp hop mouthfeel. Lingering dryness. One of the best Marzen styles I have had.

Oct 11, 2001 I tasted this beer at LaCrosse Oktoberfest on tap. A very good beer. nutty flavor. I had my own pitcher of this and the last glass was even better than the first which says alot about the smoothness. Alot of darker beers get bitter after several in a row but this didn’t. Creamy is a good discription also, I agree with the Beer Baron on that.. I rate it an A
