Not crazy about this originally, better than most lights but it is growing on me

This is actually the original Old Style light recipe. Virtually no aroma. Pale yellow in color with a whispy white head. Decent lace when poured into a small plastic cup (from a sampler at the City Brewery Bier Stube). Very faint hops. Easy drinking, but innocuous.

For the style, this is an excellent beer. Good light beers are hard to come by but this one is satisfying. Barely noticable adjuncts. Nice balanced flavor of malt and you can actually taste hops. They're not the main attraction but at least I detect the bitterness from them. They brew some nice beers at City Brewery and this one is satisfying to say the least.

Hint of hops aroma, pale yellow, smallish head. Mild taste of malt, light bodied, ordinaire.

Thin and light, but thats the idea. Refreshing swill. $3 a six pack can’t go wrong.
