Can from Belmont Beverage in Fort Wayne, IN. Poured an amber color with a moderate frothy white head that diminished quickly with virtually no lacing. Average sour grainy hop aroma. Light body with a watery texture. Light sweet flavor with a small sweet finish of short duration. Would not recommend this to a freind.

I like this beer - for a light lager. It has more flavor and character than most light beers. Good golden color, holds a head longer than most of its type. Flavor has a bite! Like real beer should! Bud Light, Miller Lite and the others can’t come close to this beer. It’s quite good for the type.

Almost as worse as brew city. The only good thing i can say is it is more watered down because id rather be drinking half swill half water to get it done with quicker than a full can of crap.

This is the new cheapest beer by the case back at my college town. $7 and change for a 24 pack. No wonder its so cheap- 3.4% abv? wtf? It still tasted harsh and crappy, but since it was watered down so much you wont get drunk as fast and wont get nearly as bad of a hangover. Nice beer for playing drinking games though.

AROMA: What aroma? Oh, is that the beer? I thought I needed to take the trash out....APPEARANCE: Pale yellow, urine color. FLAVOR: Like water, but skunkier. PALATE: After the first one it goes down like water. OVERALL IMPRESSION: What do you expect? It’s 8 dollars a case.

Attention: If you are looking for something alcoholic with absolutely no taste what so ever, your search is over. Just as cheap and...well, cheap, as its non-light counterpart, this beer is terrible. Just get Brew City Lager instead, at least it has a taste.

Basically, you can look at my rating for it’s not light counter-part and put light in front of everything I said. Also, thanks for another free beer JMerritt.

In the can and called Brew City Light. A thin white head. Very pale and light color with a few bubbles. Aroma is metallic with green beans. The taste is a malty bit of corn. It also has some more sweetness than you would expect. On tap at the brewery, this was called Local Light and slightly better. It is the same as City Light, but with rice instead of corn. At least that was how the head brewer explained it to me.
