Pours brown with a moderate bubbly head. Aroma of hops, some roasty malt. Moderate mouth feel with a roasted flavor up front, with a solid hop bite in the finish.

Light copper pour with small, off-white head that doesn’t stick around. The aroma is caramel and sweet with just a hint of citrus. The flavor is all about sweet. Very little bitterness at the end. Creamy mouthfeel and little to moderate carbonation. This was way too sweet for an APA.

Hops, citrus, lite fruit aroma. Copper with very thin head. Farily bland flavour with sweet malts and lite hops. Crisp with bitter finish.

Rusty gold, big beady head. Fair, but clip-artsy label. Caramel, moderatey fruity hop aroma. Don’t drink the foam - it’s fishy-metallic. Boozy, pith-bitter, crackery, lightly tart, not sweet at all until the finish, light diacetyl. Medium body. Lingering unpleasant bitterness, going metallic. Thanks to PorterPounder.

Sweet with caramel and biscuit, some diacetyl. Mild neutral fruitiness. Papery and a little cooked corn. Brilliant amber clear, with thin off-white lacing head. Watery light body with mild carbonation. Starts pretty sweet, with some caramel and biscuit. Mild cooked corn, sugary sweet, like a fortified lager or malt liquor almost. Dry bitterness or nuttiness in the finish, with a sickly sweet after. Very little character to the hops, other than a dry bitter. Not a very good APA.

Another City Brewery beer. This one is on the subtle side of pale ales. It’s not real hoppy, but there’s taste, it’s just not a huge taste. Good stuff though, and somewhat local to me.

Thin fizzy head with light carbonation. Nice hoppy aroma. Little citrusy and piney. Sharp nasal bitterness. Color is a dark amber. Nice and hoppy flavor with some soft bready malts. Zippy bitterness. Bitternes is short lived though. Finish is dry, a little chalky and bitter. A decent run of the mill pale ale. Good hops and a light malt for balance. Decent.

Minnetonka, Mn - MGM Liquors - 12 oz bottle. Slight funky aroma, hint of spruce to redeem it. Medium orange pour with solid white frothy head. Faint citrusy flavor, hint of mint. Decent bit of syrupy maltiness in the back end to balance it out. Good bitterness throughout. Mouthfeel is thick enough. One of the better ones I have had from this brewer.
