Oddly enough, this dark beer had a slightly "skunky" smell to it. The flavor is crisp, but still has the expected roasted hints. This was not thick; felt more like a lager; the finish was pleasing but not overbearing.

pours a darker brown color with a bit of a red color with a tan head. aroma of cherries and malt...with the cherries coming through in the flavor with a coffee like finish. medium body, just not very complex or flavorful...the world's largest six pack at the brewery is still cool.

Medium brown with reddish highlights and pours to a large creamy tan head and good lace. The aroma hints of ripe cherry, dusty yeast esters, roasted dark malts, and espresso. The taste of malty and balanced with some bitter, fruity, and coffee notes. The big knock is that this beer is way too short and watery, damn so disappointing. A porter for the masses and even then, it will not go over to well. A guess this is what you get for 99 cents in Wisconsin now days. Needs a boost on all levels.

Pours a medium dark brown with a thin short-lived tan head. Lightly roasted sweet caramel malt aroma. Body is thin for a porter, but has a nice light sweetness throughout. Smooth, but uninteresting.

Aroma of port and coffee. The taste also had port and coffee, with some chocolate and roasted malt flavor. Medium bodied. Surprisingly good.

Dark brown color, small light tan head that faded very fast.Light roasty aroma, maybe some dried fruit but little else slight chocolate possible.Roasty, taste with a watery feel light chocolate and little else with a slight sweetness and mild chocolate after taste. This is definately a less then mediocre brew and needs some help in just about all fronts to really get this one to be decent.

Eastery, bad, sticky, sour, dumb and lumbering, mistakes all over, possibly a bad bottle

Bottle. Nice looking brown with a thick head. Smoky coffee smell which follows through effectively in the flavor. Slightly thin mouthfeel but not enough for any sort of point deduction.
