Clear golden colour with white head.
Unbelievably hoppy aroma with some hints caramel/toffee. Grassy hoppy flavour. Surprisingly tasty brew for a n/a beer. Beats many alcoholic beers. Borup (1359), Albertslund, Denmark
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 9, 2009 Bottle. Clear golden colour with an okay head. Aroma and flavour of hops and malt with some bitterness. Not the worst low alcohol beer. Gypsy19 (649), California, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 7, 2009 Pours a golden copper with an average head. Has more flavor than most lagers, strangely. This would be a pretty good lager if it had any booze in it, I think. You can actually taste hops in it, which is more than can be said about most piss lagers. Though I’m not a lager guy, this would be my lager of choice if I could cop a buzz off of it. Fair overall though. zach8270 (2127), Henrietta, New York, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 24, 2009 (bottle - 12 oz) Clear gold color with a thin white head. Aroma is bitter and grassy with some skunked notes and hops. Smells like a pils. Tastes distinctively low alcohol but has a crisp malt backbone and a lightly bitter and hopped finish. Actually not too bad. bobinlondon (843), Harrow, Greater London, England
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 11, 2009 Bottle, many times over the years when I’ve been driving. Looks like a standard pils. Although is obviously a low alc beer, it does have a reasonably pure tasing malt profile and no rough bitter twangs that many beers in this catagory present. It could be a lot worse! | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 28, 2008 Golden, medium head, had thise one years ago and the quality is much better now, seems to be that the german brewery’s makes lots of progress in alc free.
grain and hops are gentle in the balance. good one.
