| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 5, 2008 31/12 After museums visiting a pizza was suppose to land down good, specially with a new beer. Clausthaler...didn’t hear of it so I ordered. And, got an NA! Just great, I was willing to kill myself! But let’s see it. That 0.5 l bottle poured pale yellow body with quite big head. Aroma slightly stinky NA, malty with rusty and vegetable hints, although much better than other of the kind. Flavor following the aroma, but somehow it was drinkable. Probably the best NA I have tried, although bad brew and not so pleasant. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Jan 3, 2008 Medium yellow, clear bodied with a minimal head of white that dissipates quickly.
No aroma to speak of.
Very watery in the palate with a bit of sharp cideryness before it just washes away into total nothingness.
Not very satisfying as a beer, but I could see this as a refreshing alternative to a glass of cold water. on a hot summer day.
This is not only non-alcoholic, but no one would think you had had a beer of any kind from the smell on your breath.

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Pours a straw color with a half inch head that dissipates and leaves little to no lacing. Smell is of grains and a slight skunkiness to it, couldn’t really find any hop aroma. Taste is real watery with a slight taste of grain and skunkiness, no hops detected. Seems to be a little overcarbonated with virtually no body. I just can’t give any higher than a one for drinkability, less than one of these is more than enough. kappldav123 (1880), Markkleeberg, Germany
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Dec 19, 2007 A famous beer, but why? It smells and tastes terrible - really chemical. In no way drinkable. Really not good. BelgianBeerGal (1312), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Dec 8, 2007 Bottled. Why drink an NA? Not much choice when pregnant and craving a beer. Pours out like a typical pale lager in appearance with a nice white head. Best description for aroma and flavour is faint black tea with lemon added. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 13, 2007 Well, to start off, I was never really interested in trying an N/A. But, in my quest to sample every beer style, I decided that this is, still, a beer style. Nonetheless, I was still pleased with the aromas and the taste of this beer, and I suppose it can be useful in some instances. The color was an attractive amber/ gold, slightly darker than the taste suggests. The head is big, white, and fluffy, and the taste is actually about twice as good as I expected it to be. It has a decent balance, with a bit of fruity bitterness (pomegranate) and a very dry, lingering finish. Not a bad beer, if you want to call it that.
