| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 4, 2004 Bottle. Has a hoppy aroma, floral, beany, and a carbonic acidity that reminds me of ginger ale or similar. Odd, but not unpleasant. Medium yellow clear with white foamy head (pancake bubbles) that laces but has only modest longevity. Medium watery body with medium-high carbonation. Start is semi-sweet and mildly acidic. Quite well hopped, though a bit papery. Finish is mildly acidic and has a decent bitterness. Aftertaste has a medium, slightly chalky bitterness that has some staying power. All in all, this really isn't that bad of an alcohol-free beer. There is enough bitterness to keep it interesting, and the typical flat chemical taste of other low-no alcohol beer is not apparent.
