argo0 (6176), Washington DC, USA Mar 21, 2004 Clear light amber body topped by small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, corn, grassy, caramel -- really a strange mix of smells. Taste is sweet, caramel and corn, light grassy. Light body with a bit of caramel stickiness. I've had many worse beers, and they don't have the excuse that they're low alcohol. hopscotch (4482), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Oct 1, 2004 I have definitely had worse high alcohol beers. Beautiful, crystal clear, copper lager with a small, long-lasting, creamy, white head. Splattered lacing. Smells just like a wheelbarrow of warm, damp, mashed barley husks. The tast is similar, including the sweetness. Not terrifically balanced. A little corny. Some caramel. Light-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, mildly sweet finish. Not at all offensive. A good choice if driving or heavy machinery is involved. Cornfield (4262), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jun 19, 2005 Light amber body with a vanishing white head, this has a Strong, sweet malt aroma. Smooth to drink, it’s sweet caramel malt with a light floral hop finish. Much better than any BMC pale, regardless of its .45% ABV. JPDIPSO (4234), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Feb 12, 2004 Dull golden amber color with a hugh fluffy off white head. Sweet malt and citric orange aroma. Sweet malt and floral hops aromas. Much akin to a heavy dark hop tea.
